Individual Lessons in

Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, Bass Guitar, Songwriting and Theory Lessons.

     In a private lesson the student will learn notation, chords, tabs, ear training and theory. Each student is different in musical tastes. Therefore the student has the opportunity to select songs they would like to do. The lessons are structured and fun.The lessons are 30 minutes or 45 minutes or 60 minutes depending on the choice of the student (parent).

 Discount offered for multiple students from the same household, back to back lessons.

March 2012: Radio Show

Current students have the opportunity to perform on the radio. Selected students must have three songs perfected in order to perform. Two students will have this opportunity for this performance in March 2012.

June 16th: Recital

Current students will perform their selected songs for family, friends and other students. This is an informal recital. All ages welcome to participate if they choose.

June 16th Formal Recital

This recital is for the selected student that I choose is at a performance level. Each song performed is perfected. Dress attire is formal.

Each student performs two songs for family and others.

NOTE: Registration consists of contacting me prior to the class, band or lesson time. This is to discuss location, costs, lesson plans and to discuss the direction you or your child wish to take in music.

Guitar Class Every Wednesday

This class is on-going and is open enrollment.

 Pre-registration is required prior to attending your first class. Register early to ensure you get into the class. Maximum 10 students per class.

*This class is for the student who is beginner or intermediate. For the student that has no knowledge of the guitar at all or has extensive knowledge of how to read tabs and knows chords on the guitar. This is a great opportunity to take a class with your child; Also, great for the student of any age.

*Ages 8 and up are welcome. Guitars and tuners are available for purchase at a reasonable cost or I can advise you on what to look for at the music store. This is a great class to take if you are unsure if you or if your child has a true interest in playing guitar; very cost effective.

*The cost is $40 per student per four week month.  (Plus guitar purchase if applicable.)

*We will start with an easy riff in tabs from a rock song to refresh your memory (or learn it) on how to read them, exercises to build finger and hand strength, notes on the strings, tuning by ear and by using a tuner, tabs, chords and 2-3 songs.  You need a guitar, electronic tuner and a willingness to learn. The songs are sectioned to challenge all the students for all levels.

** Keyboard Class Every Saturday starting Feb 25^th.

Register now for this class, It is a great way to learn to play the keyboard/piano.

* Beginner to level 2B welcome. This class is for the student who has no knowledge of the keyboard/piano or has basic skills in notation. If you are unsure if you or your child will enjoy the keyboard, or has had past experience it did not go well, this class is the perfect opportunity to try it out at a low cost. This is an opportunity to take a class with your child if you choose. (Discount offered for multiple students from the same household).

* This class will focus on notation (reading music), chords, finger placement and control, and a few songs.

* Ages 8 and up are welcome; Beginner to advanced welcome. Students must have a keyboard or piano to practice on during the week to prepare for each class. You may purchase a keyboard from me at a reasonable cost or I can refer you to where to purchase if you do not have one.

* The cost for this class is a flat rate $40. per four week month. An additional one time cost will be the flashcards and music binder $15. total to get started =$ 55. (plus keyboard purchase or rental if applicable).

* Please contact me for registration prior to the start of the class; Minimum of 6 students registered for the class to continue each month. Maximum class size: 10 students per class. Keeping the class small ensures each student receives optimal instruction.



* Vocal instruction is offered with the instruction of an instrument.
